João Bosco de Freitas Mucci, better known as João Bosco is a famous Brazilian MPB singer, guitarist and composer (streamable as Joao Bosco). Born on July 13, 1946, in Ponte Nova, Minas Gerais, he went to Rio de Janeiro, where his songs were then recorded by Elis Regina, making its way to success. João has been noted for “his singular fusion between the Arab culture, Afro-American music and the Brazilian style bossa nova,” influenced by American jazz.
