Jimmy Demers

Jimmy Demers is a singer/songwriter hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and was soon one of the first artists signed by John McClain to Interscope Records. Throughout the '90's, Jimmy recorded jingles for a myriad of high profile clients including Chevrolet, AOL, McDonald's and the groundbreaking worldwide campaign of "Always Coca-Cola".

Jimmy Demers has traveled extensively throughout the world singing from Shanghai, China (where he performed at the closing ceremonies for the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games) to Versailles in France. Additionally, Jimmy Demers has been a featured singer to sports organizations all over the United States. He has sung "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the "US Open (tennis) Championship" ,the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, to name only a few.

Shortly after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, Jimmy (along with numerous other celebrities and high profile supporters)found himself in Kuala Lampur lending his support to The Force of Nature Concert for Tsunami Aid. While in Kuala Lampur, Jimmy was honored to share his gift for the King and Queen of Malaysia at the Royal Palace.

Jimmy Demers has worked alongside Industry heavyweights from Diane Warren and David Foster, to Giorgio Moroder and Tim Rice. He has recorded back up vocals for many top selling superstar artists including Garth Brooks, Patti LaBelle and Cher. His debut album "Dream A Little," produced by Terry Coffey for the Concord Music Group was released to critical praise in the fall of 2008. His brother Donnie Demers wrote the words and music to several of the songs, including "It's A Lonely World" (which was featured on the Sirius radio show of best-selling author and motivational speaker Deepak Chopra.)

The Pop Superstar and former American Idol Judge, Paula Abdul refers to Jimmy as 'the greatest male vocalist in the world' and to support that claim, she hosted "An evening with Jimmy Demers" at Vibrato, where Herb Alpert, Billie Dee Williams and supermodel Cheryl Tiegs were among those who joined Jimmy and his brother Donnie as they performed to a standing room only crowd.

Jimmy has headlined sold-out shows at both the world renowned Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel and Lowes Regency Hotel in New York City. In April 2010, Jimmy performed at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford, England, with his brother Donnie Demers, for THE SKOLL WORLD FORUM AWARDS.
