JETTINGHAM is a Fort Wayne local band out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I've had the privilege to see these guys play. But now it seems that they will be heard all over the world now. Now, Once upon a time...

These four guys got together and created a demo tape back in '99. Never, Never, Never made it on the Extreme Essential's Vol. 3 album and landed them on the Radio. (I heard this song back in '99, but never knew who they were and forgot about it). Then, the following year the recorded a full album titled Neato. Their song cheating made it to the Extreme Essentials Vol.4 and again they recieved major airplay for their song "Cheating". We have a local Nine at Nine on Extreme 102.3 and Abraham's Cheating was number one for a long ass time. Abraham who? Well, I'll explain later. Anyways, so with this the record labels decided to come to the midwest and check these guys out. And thats exactly what they did. I went to their last show at Pierre's and they announce on the radio they were leaving for awhile out of town. They wouldn't say why.

But 2 weeks later the radio announced the got a record deal with Universal Records. Back to Abraham name, me and a few of my friends saw Dave and talked with him when they got back into town. He said that there were other people using the name Abraham and there was some kid that had been using the name for 3 years. So they just made up a name off the top of their heads and Jettingham was created. They wanted a name that was theirs and so they didn't have to worry about this and that with sharing the name Abraham with others. So come mid September be on the look out for Jettingham's self/titled debut release. Also, their hit song Cheating will be on the American Pie 2 Soundtrack and that is being released on July 31, 2001.
