Jessy De Smet was born on 8 July 1976 in Zottegem Both her mother and father performing in bands and she has a brother who is only 18 months older than Jessy
Even at age 8 Jessy started singing since her parents are musicians a musical career, Jessy was the first logical choice because her parents were performing with "Willy Sommers" (a famous Belgian artist) every weekend, he asked Jessy to record a single with him, this single was called "Twee Vrienden" (two friends) and did quite well in the Belgian Charts
About a year and a half years later, "Marijn De Valck" (also in the Belgian entertainment) who lived in the same city as Jessy asked her to record a song called "Vang het Licht" (light capture) all money earned with this song were donated to the belgiska Association of autism Meanwhile Jessy's parents started their own band "Jennifer Band", where Jessy started singing at the age of 12
In 1996 Jessy meets Mackenzie as she gives her first dance single "I'm free, which proved a great clubhit 1998 the attack charts again with love, and you have to go up slightly different because of the amount of texts of songs
It's in June 1998 that virginity was released biggest hit Mackenzie feat Jessy had sold more than 25 000 copies in Belgium earn them a gold CD, the longest recorded song in the charts in 1998 Mackenzie feat Jessy got Ultratop Dance Chart AWARD 1998 in September of that same years they release "Falling in love" with this song a golden CD reached
Only 2 months later fthere is some life in April 1999 of the control is released the same month the album Angel writes history after only 3 weeks album go straight to number 1, which has never been a dance album in Belgium Angel also won the TMF-Award for Best Album of 1999 Jessy was also nominated for best female vocalist and best dance-act
In August 1999 The rain put the success of the group is huge so you could see Jessy on national TV or in interviews all the time with the group she has at least 4 shows per weekend, after hectic summer in December Emotions are followed in April 2000 to Be My Lover
In September 2000 the single order digsläpps in December 2000 Mackenzie out everything I need, where dozens almost as well as innocent and in love and finally, the last single together withMackenzie Walk away released in April 2001
After this really hectic period Jessy decides to have a career break and bring back fun in the act as the lead singer of this period, she begins to make guest appearances in a cover band called in Belgium and she has a lot of fun to do so after several proposals from all over Europe, she decides to start a new project with Belgium's most famous producers Registration Penxten and Filip Vandueren (The names behind the Milk IncSylver Flesh & Bones, etc.)
The three begin work on a new single by Jessy wrote this yourself again first single Look @ me now released on Vinyl in July 2002 and on CD in August 2002 Look @ me now discharged by the AGM in the studio and record label where Regi and Filip makes most of its production until theAmman with a total new look and a superb video for new Jessy start a new and hopefully even bigger career
On Stage Jessy is one of the few singers in the dance scene who sings live during the show she and some of the best dancers in Belgium makes their performance on a choreography by Isabelle Bequest
Look @ me was now in the Belgian Ultratop charts for more than 20 weeks! (it is 5 months!) a peak of # 8 Because of the great success successor Enchanted was delayed first by a couple of months and eventually not released due to the time the British promotion look @ me now Go! Performances around Europe (Great Britain Netherlands Spain) were made for the French market, regardez-moi released a French översättning of the Look @ me now

Beginning of July 2003 is the latest version of Jessy Head Over Heels first graph results (# 26 of the second week) promises a nice future!
At this moment Jessy Regi and Filip are working hard on a new album!
