Jelluzz is an artist hailing from the north of London on a one-man mission to make unique, fresh and most importantly; quality music. In a major way.
After years of practise in perfecting his craft, Jelluzz released his first single Happy Mealz in winter 2006 which exploded onto the UK scene with a big bang that saw it getting rotation on MTV Base and Choice FM, receiving rave reviews in Young Voices magazine as ‘the artist to watch for 2007’, and the video stayed in the Channel U Top 10 for eight weeks, placing Jelluzz as a serious artist, as opposed to just another MC, to pay close attention to.
Following the success of Happy Mealz, Jelluzz released the follow up single and video, Deeper, which entered into the Top 10 on MTV’s Base Chart Show, creating Jelluzz’s own lane of creating witty rhymes with a shot of sex appeal, without compromising his artistic credibility. Both Happy Mealz and Deeper have created a great buzz and have established a solid fan base for Jelluzz, who finished off 2007 on a high note by featuring on the official remix for Jay Sean’s hit single ‘Ride It’.
January 2009 saw Jelluzz returning with his smash anthem ‘Hold On’, which resulted in Puma using the song as part of their global marketing campaign for their ‘Urban Motion’ fragrance. Autumn 2009 see’s Jelluzz releasing his double A-side ‘It’s My City’ featuring Ricky Blaze and ‘Just Say Yes’ featuring UK R&B star Darren B.
