Jebediah

Jebediah - N.D.C. Jebediah's self titled album shows off a band all grown up, from brash Perth based kids with catchy songs to premier recording artists. The album reveals a carefully crafted masterpiece that defines where these grown up kids are at.

The next chapter of their musical journey looks set to be a winning one.

Following the single release of 'Fall Down' and 'Nothing Lasts Forever', 'N.D.C' continues the Jebediah lineage of an outstanding music career taking both band and listener back to their roots.

Considering the short duration and a song title that is only three letters, the rock guitar breakout packs a punch and delivers a concise and catchy tune, bathing the listener's punk-pop sensibilities.

It is no surprise that 'N.D.C' has come in at number one on their self titled album track listing – it's one of the bands favourites. 'All the parts came together really quickly for it. We started playing it live and soon it became the first song in out set…we all like that song alot' guitarist, Chris notes.

'This was the first song we wrote after I got my Rickenbacker' recalls frontman Kevin Mitchell 'I was just loving standing in front of my amp playing chords, and just listening to the guitar sing' and sing it does, lyrics and tune alike remind us of Jebediah's indie beginnings.

So what does 'N.D.C' stand for? While Jebediah aren't exactly following in the footsteps of Pink Floyd, that is, play 'N.D.C' backwards and it doesn't sing 'congratulations you have found the secret message'. Sing the initials with the tune however and you'll soon catch on. Jebediah remind us what they stand for and what kind of a scene they've come from.

'Give it up for rock and roll' indeed.
