Hailing from Buffalo, NY, on the icy banks of Lake Erie, It Dies Today has denotated onto the national hardcore scene since their inception in the summer of 2001 with a savage and undoubted aural onset that leaves listeners feeling emotionally torn-asunder. After releasing their first demo in the fall of 2001, and following a few touring stints of New England and the East Coast, It Dies Today caught the attention of Life Sentence Records with interest in releasing an EP. Wasting no time, the members of It Dies Today booked studio time in February of 2002 to record their debut EP for Life Sentence Records entitled "Forever Scorned". This short-play features six tracks of relentless, misanthropic, metal onslaught. Following the release of "Forever Scorned" in August of 2002, It Dies Today will be hitting the road with Bury Your Dead in support of their new release. In a time when even underground music seems to be pushing out the same over-produced slick flavor-of-the-week type bands, It Dies Today transcends the mold and delivers a sound based on pure and veracious ethics. If you've never experienced a live band that will leave you beaten, bloodied, and physically ravaged then now is the time to do so.
