Ismael Serrano

Spanish singer/songwriter Ismael Serrano was born in the early '70s, studying solfa and piano at a young age. Influenced by a Latin style known as Nueva Trova, the artist started composing as a teenager, adding music to the work of prominent poets. In 1994, Ismael Serrano began singing at small venues in Madrid, signing up to PolyGram in 1996, releasing his first album, called Atrapados En Azul, that same year. During 1997 and 1998, the singer performed throughout Spain while composing songs for his following record called La Memoria De Los Peces. After successfully touring Latin America, Ismael Serrano released Los ParaĆ­sos Desiertos in the year 2000.
