"Grime" will hit thestreets in Scandinavia on the 15thof October(distributed by MNW) and release dates willfollow in Europe, the US and Japan in early 2002. INIQUITY is the no. 1 priority on MIGHTY MUSIC, not least due to the fact that MIGHTY MUSIC hasbeen working with the band for almost seven years now.

INIQUITY has existed since '89 and is today oneof the oldest and most acknowledged Europeandeath metal acts. In '95 INIQUITY signed a deal with Emanzipation Productions (EMZ) and enteredthe well known Borsing Studio together with Jan Borsing to record their first full lenght album"Serenadium". Due to several reasons therecordinggot quite delayed and in the meantime EMZ was contacted by Diehard Music Worldwide who were interested in a co-operation. EMZ quickly agreed to become a sub-division of Diehard Music Worldwideand the first release was of course INIQUITY's "Serenadium" album which saw the light of day in the summer of '96, highly anticipated by both the press and the fans. The reactions towards "Serenadium" were generally extremely positive, especially in the US where INIQUITY have a large following today. Then a lot of line-up changes occured within theband, but the members however stayed focused on playing live and getting four new songs ready, which were recorded in November '97 byLars Schmidt (Furious Trauma & Konkhra)at the Soundzone Studio and mixed by Jacob Hansen. At this time EMZ had decided to start up its own independent record company, which turned out to be MIGHTY MUSIC.

The first release was the INIQUITY "The HiddenLore" MCD which was unleashed upon the massesin May '98."The Hidden Lore" showed a new sideof INIQUITY. While the "Serenadium" album hadit's doomy and gloomy moment "The Hidden Lore" was 21 minutes of pure brutal, technicaland ultra tight death metal. It resulted in incredible reviews and still sells today.

After even more line-up changes (new vocalist, new bassplayer and new guitarist!!), the band entered the Aabenraa Studio in May '99 to record their second full lenght album "Five Across The Eyes" with Danish sound guru JacobHansen. Again the result was a top quality death metal recording and again the sales increase and the reviews are amazing.

Furthermore, "Five Across The Eyes" was licensed to Decade Recordsfor release in Latin America and to PavementMusic for release in the USA. INIQUITY again face a line-up changewhen guitarist Brian Eriksen leaves the band and is replaced by Kræn Meier(also member of MIGHTY MUSIC band Sacrificial). .
