With the release of their debut EP in January 2011, LAKEVIEW is clearly pushing the envelope with their sharp melodic leads, taunting breakdowns, and strong choruses. They’ve set out to bring something new and fresh to the Northern VA music scene and It is finally time to reveal to the world what they have spent the last year working diligently on- Their much anticipated EP Live Before You Die.
In addition to the release, there will also be a digital release of the whole EP and artwork on Itunes, Cd baby etc. “Chasing Dreams Without Sleep” and “No Country For Old Men” are just two of seven songs from their EP which are now streaming on their Myspace/Facebook. These songs consist of Taylin Large (Screaming) Anthony “Shred” Niv (Guitar, Vocals), Bruno Soares (Guitar), Griffin Kentner (Bass, Vocals) Eric St. Clair (Drums, Vocals). Tired of wasting time in bands that weren’t seriously dedicated, LAKEVIEW members were magnetically drawn together through word of mouth in 2009.
Despite their short history, LAKEVIEW has amassed a significant and loyal fan base. ” One of the things we like to do best is be on a personable level with our fans.We like to talk to everyone and learn as much as we possibly can about every single one of them,” says Eric. They’re hitting the road shortly after the release of Live Before You Die, to show the world what LAKEVIEW has to bring to the table.
