Kolmas Nainen is a rockband from Alavus, Finland formed in 1982. They became famous after placing second in the 1984 Finnish Rock Championships, although they scored the same points as the winner Peer Günt. The best known member of the band is singer Pauli Hanhiniemi. Other members are drummer Pasi Kallioniemi, bass player Raimo Valkama, guitarist Sakari Pesola and guitarist Timo Kivikangas who replaced Timo Löyvä. The band was at the peak of their success in the late 80's and early 90's. Kolmas Nainen split up in 1994, although performing sporadically after that.
