DAMNATION is insane, evil, punk rock and roll from hell (aka Los Angeles). The band's shows are guaranteed to draw a mix of hyped-up skater kids, teenage girls, and crusty ol' punks. R.A.F.R. Records & Evil One Music are pleased to be releasing The Unholy Sounds of Damnation, the bands' fourth full-length album, in late 2002. Produced by Blag from the Dwarves and Bradley Cook, the new 11 song CD slams you with raging horror punk.
The evil core of DAMNATION has been together since 1992!
After being dismissed from Hello Disaster in '92, singer Shaun Kama teamed up with drummer Robert Shawn and bass player Al G. to form L.A. evil-core band The Living End (not the Aussie band!). The Living End ruled early 90's L.A. clubs like Club Lingerie, Raji's, etc. The Living End disbanded in '96 to form DAMNATION. After a slew of guitar players, Tod joined the crew in '97 for the band's first U.S. tour and the now legendary lineup was born.
DAMNATION has toured with the Dwarves, Battalion of Saints, the Humpers, Fifteen, Avail, the Misfits, and Fear. They did a highly successful tour of Europe in Fall 2000 and they will be returning there in 2003.
Other like-minded bands with whom DAMNATION has shared the stage include the Supersuckers, Suicidal Tendencies, Angry Samoans, D.O.A., NoMeansNo, the Business, Lunachicks, Bouncing Souls, NOFX, U.S. Bombs, Lagwagon, JFA, and Final Conflict.
The band will be touring the USA in support of the new album throughout 2003.
