FAQ How did you get the name, "Blame It On Rio"? -It came from the Subject title of a spammed e-mail Jonny recieved back in January of 2001. We needed a name so we decided to go with it. We found out about 2 years later it's also the name of a movie, who knew. (Note*None of us have seen the movie. We hear it's really bad)
When are you coming to my town? -We are constantly on tour so hopefully soon. Your best bet is to get on our mailing list and check our sites often to get our up-to-date tour route. You can also send us a message/comment that you want us to come to your town and we'll do our best to head that way.
Why don't you reply to my messages/comments? -We do our best to respond to every message we get, but sometimes we get a little overwhelmed. Wait a week, if we still haven't responded send us another message and get mad!! :) Just kidding, don't get mad, but really send us another message. Unfortunately, we almost never reply to comments.
What happened to that one guy? I thought he was in your band? -As with all bands, we've had a few line-up changes in the last 4 years. This is because of conflict of interests within the band, the constant threat of being extremely poor because you are in a band, and because people change. We're still very good friends with our past members. If you wish to reach them, send us a message and we'll see if we can help you out.
Hey I heard you dated my friend. -That's not a question...but we probably didn't date your friend. And if they are trying to start rumors that they did, tell them to stop...nicely!
Were you talking trash about my band/friend/mom/etc.? -No. Everyone in Blame It On Rio believes in treating everyone with respect and talking badly about people is just not what we are about. You'll almost always find us in a positive mood and open to talk to whomever, whenever. If you have a problem or heard a rumor about us that's just so horrible and you can't believe it, ask us about it - but please don't spread it. Nobody likes a shit-talker
