Hin Onde's history dates back to 1994/95 when Nrq and Wircki were involved in a doom/death/folk band named CALM.
CALM was put to rest in '97 and Nrq and Wircki both concentrated to their solo projects. After a break for over a year, Nrq gathered his fellow musicians Vrtx (from the black metal band Azaghal) and Wircki, to reform CALM, but now as a pure folk metal band. After a while the band also changed name to SVARTALVHEIM, before they in 1998 decided to change name to something more original, thus HIN ONDE was born.
During the late months of 1998 the band entered the Cursed Studios to record their new material, whereof Aftermath Music signed the band for a limited 7" EP titled "Fiery September Fire". The 7" EP was very well received by fans of the folk metal genre, and the 7" is now completely sold out.
After the 7" release the band concentrated more and more upon songwriting, and finally, in the early summer of 2000, HIN ONDE again entered the Cursed Studios to record what they were sure to release as a fullength album. As with the 7" EP, Aftermath Music were the label to get the release, a release that is something new and original in the lines of melodic folklore (black) metal.
After their debut album "Songs of Battle", the band has done a MCD that will be issued shortly through Solistitium Records in Germany.
The band is also well on their way of writing their next fullength, moving maybe even further into folkoriented music, but more news on that later...
