Helitte

Heliite is a Mexican alternative rock band formed in Mexico City. Consisting of Roberto Sanchez Puebla (bass guitar), Ricardo Barranco and Cesar De Leon

(guitars), and Paul Diaz de la Vega (drums and piano).

The group appeared in june of 1997 as "Noctambulo", their firts rock proyect. This rock band ran from 1997 to 2001. Later they decided to change muscial concepts

and also changed band's name too, they called it "Oberon49". The band's first release was in 2002 with the single "Entre viento y Niebla" which was an completely

local success. In november of 2006, the former drummer Eric Talavera left the band. But the other band members never went in separate ways.

By 2008 Paul Diaz de la Vega joined the band and together create the musical concept of Helitte. Helitte compared with other mexican rock bands is clearly less heavy. Helitte has listed many rock and classic rock bands as influences, including Radiohead,

Pearl Jam, STP, Muse, Deftones, Soul Fly, Collective Soul, Coldplay, Belle & Sebastian, Blur, The Police, The Kinks, Pink Floyd and The Beatles of course.

Helitte recently informed in their official site that they are working on its first single release. This recording will include 3 original songs: "A 5 metros del

suelo","Debes entender" and "Sin mas plan". This is produced by Adolfo Romero in Silicon Workshop in Mexico City.
