Heli Simpson (born on 21 February 1987 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)[1] is an Australian actress and singer. Simpson was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and was raised by her English father and Estonian mother with two brothers. Her first acting role was as Veronica diAngelo on 2001 TV series.[2] The Saddle Club, a children's television series, provided her role as Veronica diAngelo for 33 episodes from 2001 to 2003.[2] Veronica diAngelo was portrayed in the 2008 series by Marny Kennedy.[4] "Don't Ask Me", was released as Simpson's debut single in 2004, which peaked at #16 on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) singles chart.[5] It was followed by her debut album, Princess Veronica. Simpson and fellow cast member Kia Luby are featured on the original soundtracks for The Saddle Club.
Simpson graduated from Lauriston Girls School in 2005. During her Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) studies, she achieved the maximum percentile ranking of 99.95.[citation needed] She subsequently commenced a medicine course,[3] but took a break from her university studies and lived in France.
