Gyratory System are an experimental music group from the near future comprising of Trumpet & Treatments, Bass Guitar & Synth, Drums & Drones and Avant Reeds. + Gyratory System is a live/electronica project started by producer Andrew Blick. It takes conventional musical sounds, shatters them into small pieces, processes them and reassembles them, to create the sound of a distorted marching band stopping off to pick up a rhythm section at Lagos en route to a rave in Dusseldorf.

Album scheduled for Autumn 2009 Release. + After strong support from NME, 20 Jazz Funk Greats, XFM and BBC 6MUSIC amongst others, the band releases its debut album on 26 October 2009 via the Angular Recording Corporation. +
- It is called ‘The Sound-Board Breathes’, a title the band say comes from Paradise Lost by John Milton.
- It will be preceded by a free download, ‘Cargo Cult’ on 17 August 2009; and a 4 track EP, ‘Sea Containers House’ on 21 September 2009.
