Grief, obviously, was a doom band that sounded mournful and had achieved an underground following. Upon splitting the band blamed the scene for a lack of support for doom metal in general.
The band had several 7"s including one with Dystopia and Corrupted each. An album called Turbulent Times appeared in 2002 through Southern Lord which was merely a compilation record.
