Godkiller

Duke started Godkiller in May 1994 as a one man band. The first demo "Ad majorem Satanae gloriam" was released in December 1994. A bigger step was taken with the release of the second demo, "The Warlord", in 1995.

At the beginning of 1996, Godkiller was signed by Wounded Love Records, and brought out in October the debut MCD, "The Rebirth of the Middle Ages". An epic black metal piece surrounded by a medieval scent.

Spring 1998, Duke entered The Frozen Citadel studio (his own studio) to record his first full length album, "The End of the World", which was released in July.

Different sound, different concept, different atmospheres... . Still quite dark, but now far from classical black metal stuff. Deeper and more tasty.

History leads us then to Winter 1999/Spring 2000, when Duke started the creation then the recording of his second full length album, still in The Frozen Citadel studio.

October 2000 : "Deliverance" was released. Guitars are here supported by electronics, and still darker atmospheres. Duke decided to definitely leave his black metal origins behind, and to go straight forward toward the future.

In "Deliverance", lyrics are made only with quotations from the Holy Bible.
