Listen to George Michael's new single White Light
As promised, George Michael just unveiled his new single "White Light" on Friday, June 29th during the morning program on radio station Heart 106.2 . He previously described the new song as a personal "thank you to everybody who has been a part of [his] success", adding: "I mean everybody, including the press!! Long may it continue."
At the same time, it was revealed that the final touches for the music video supporting his single are currently being put on. Reportedly, the clip will get its world exclusive in July. "White Light" will be avalable for download on August 12, while today marks the very same day he first entered the UK charts with single Wham! about 30 years ago. He will be playing at Birmingham's LG Arena on September 16 and 17. When he appeared before cameras in the UK, following his hospital discharge, he was short of breath and struggling to speak. In January he said he did not think his vocal cords would be up to performing until the summer.
