George Michael announced dates for rescheduled Symphonica tour, John White added new concertsThe English musician George Michael who who was nearly to death November 2011, has announced on Tuesday, March 20th his dates for the rescheduled Symphonica tour, which he postponed last year. Set to kick off this fall, in September 16th with a new concert added on September 4th in honor of the Austrian doctors in Vienna who saved his life and runs until October 17th when he performs the final show of three at London's Earls Court.

Michael has also announced that he has donated 1,000 tickets for his show in Vienna on September 4 to the medical staff who cared for him whilst he was in hospital in the city. Speaking about this, George Michael said: "I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you first to the doctors and nurses who saved my life and took such great care of me and to all my fans, family and friends for their love and support. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone."

Meanwhile, in anticipation of his first solo album, Blunderbuss – out April 24th – former White Stripes frontman Jack White has also announced a handful of American headlining dates for his Spring tour - month of May. The new dates include two nights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, where White's label Jack and Third Man Records is stationed. These shows come as an addition to his list of appearances at several major festivals, including the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan.
