When did you first start to sing? Five years old.
Do you have any formal singing training? Yes, I had 6 semesters at the University of Oklahoma school of music. Three years total.
What other talents do you have? Piano, opera, writing music, acting.
If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do? I will try to pay off school so I can finish my last year. And also continue to pursue my singing dream.
What are your personal goals in life? To make a difference in the world.

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like? Gospel, jazz, blues, country, big band, R&B, soul, pop and opera singers.
Most embarrassing moment? When I was standing in the lunch line in school and two guys were kicking me.
If you couldn’t sing, which talent would you most like to have? To be a school teacher.
What has been your proudest moment in life so far? To be here at American Idol.
What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL? Someone who has the heart and love to make a difference in the world through music.
Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL? I want to be an American Idol because I want to build homeless shelters all over the world, and I want people to be touched by my music, and I want to be rich!
Who is your favorite judge and why? I would have to say Randy Jackson because he has the best ear for music. Paula Abdul, she is very nice.
Who is your least favorite judge and why? I like Simon, but I think he is not always on point with his comments.
What advice do you have for other hopefuls? Be sure of yourself. Know who you are and no matter if you make it, you know in your heart you are still a star.
