He is a multiple gold recording artist, a top rated DJ - an on-air personality/mixer at the number one radio market in the country (Hot 97 in New York City ), affiliated with Jammin 94.5 in Boston, Power 106 in LA, Power 99 in Philadelphia and WEDR in Miami, the hottest club DJ, MTVs celebrity DJ, the founder and CEO of his own record label entitled Franchise Records, the founder and CEO of Franchise marketing, a manager of the most influential DJs in the top markets in the country and a player in the automobile industry. Funkmaster Flex has quite simply done it all and shows no signs of slowing down.
This year Funk Master Flex is extremely busy with radio, a new album and the car ventures.
Not only does Flex spend 26-hours a week at Hot 97.1, but he also is busy working on his highly anticipated sixth album: Funkmaster Flex 60 Minutes of Funk, Volume V: The Mixtape. With five gold records to date, this will surely be no disappointment.

He has played at parties for Mariah Carey, Ted Fields, Russell Simmons, Whitney Houston, Clive Davis, P. It抯 not everyday that celebrity DJs are seen on national television, but in Flex抯 case it is a frequent occurrence.
