Francoise Hardy

Françoise Hardy was born on January 17, 1944 in Paris, France. After her Baccalauréat, she joined Mireille's Conservatoire. She was noticed by a producer & recorded her first 7", "Tous Les Garçons Et Les Filles", selling 2 million copies : she released her first album in 1963. Concerts followed & Françoise recorded other songs in studio. In 1967, she met Jacques Dutronc & after "Comment Te Dire Adieu" in 1968, she paused her career. Françoise came back in 1971 with her album La Question, recorded with the Brazilian musician Tuca. In June 1973, her son Thomas Dutronc was born. Françoise released 2 albums in the 70's, 3 in the 80's & one in the 90's. In 2000, Françoise released a beautiful album, including duets with Jacques Dutronc, "Puisque Vous Partez En Voyage", & Iggy Pop, "I'll Be Seeing You". In 2004, she released her album Tant De Belles Choses, made with her son Thomas. For her album Parenthèses in 2006, she recorded duets with Alain Souchon, Henri Salvador & Benjamin Biolay.
