We've heard Four Year Strong, the new album from the band with the same name, and it's a blast! Here's a punk rock band that doesn't find inspiration in political issues and contemporary debates. Many punk bands feature that old raspy voice, some intense screaming, a chorus that never repeats itself, some verses like "we're not gonna take it!", or "bring down the government!". Not these guys. This is like that punk rock that's best served with a beer, poolside, at a pantyless teenage party. This is the kind of band that sings about eternal youth, about being alive, about living life at it's fullest, about breaking barriers and releasing yourself from all that is harmful in your way.

You'll surely love the vibe they're bringing, because they're really good instrumentalists, the solos are fantabulous, and the way that they blend in with the singer doing the bridge part of the song is just freaking awesome. Check out Four Year Strong's new eponymous album. They've changed a little since they've signed with Pure Noise Records, but all the better, we promise. Salute!
