Felipe Fontenelle was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1977 and lives in Portugal since he was 11. His passion for music started very early, at the age of 16 he was performing in clubs all over the country. Studied in São Paulo at "Conservatório Souza Lima" and at the jazz school "Hot Clube de Portugal". He has attended several music festivals and was finalist at the "Festival RTP da Canção" in 2001. His first album was released in 2007 by Universal Music Portugal and Brazil. A very personal and “cosy” cd, it was carefully prepared over the last few years with original songs, as well as songs by artists that were part of his childhood, such as Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Cazuza, Caetano Veloso and Legião Urbana. The cd also had the participation of the Portuguese singer Cristina Branco. Produced by Cláudio Ribeiro, the album is available in Portugal and Brazil.
