Her Ethic is an experimental electro-rock band from Norway, inspired by early industrial and post-punk. The Order of Her Ethic consists of Fredrik Falk and Stian Wold. They formed June 6, 2006, in an abandoned wearhouse across the street from Union Scene, Drammen. Up to this point, Falk and Wold had been members of a six-piece alt.rock-band, which split right before the initiation of the New Order of Her Ethic. Their albums can be downloaded for free through Jamendo. Her Ethic released their first album, The Overwhelming Unnecessity of Everything, a collection of ambient and noisy “studio-fun” in December 2008, and followed up with ROADKILL (The Asclepius EP) in February 2009. They are currently mixing the album “Skyclad,” planned for a May/June-release, and recording new material.
