From their humble beginnings in a garage in Perth, End of Fashion have come a long way in less that a year.
In September 2003 End of Fashion teamed up with Jim Moginie and Magoo to record a four track EP released through independent label Hello Cleveland!/EMI. Triple J added both singles 'Anything Goes' and 'Rough Diamonds' to high rotation across the board first week in and following sell out shows during their five week national tour supporting 'Little Birdy' and 'betchadupa', concluding with their own headline shows to overwhelming fan response; commercial stations began follow suit. The raunchy 'Rough Diamonds' video has also been well received by Channel V, video hits and of course RAGE.
The EP released in March 2004 debuted at #57 on the singles chart and is #14 most added at Australian radio this week. Only moments before their first international expedition to America (SXSW) and the UK, End of Fashion penned a worldwide deal with Capitol/EMI. Their international showcases were met with a storm of approval from a multitude of labels, publishers and music media which is lays strong foundations for their impending offshore releases. Things can only get better for this Perth based foursome who go into the studio to write and demo for their debut album in April.
