Émilie Simon was born in 1980 in Montpellier, France. Her father, composer, & her mother, musician, gave her music passion, then she studied contemporary music. She released her first album in 2003. Singer & songwriter, Émilie received a Victoire De La Musique for "Electronic Album". Then director Luc Jacquet called her to compose the soundtrack for his film "La Marche De L'Empereur". Thanks to it, she got another Victoire De La Musique for "Soundtrack". Émilie became a promising artist with lots of projects.
