The Liechtenstein formation ELIS around their front lady Sabine Dünser started their musical career under the name ERBEN DER SCHÖPFUNG. In 2001 they released their first Single "Elis" and Album "Twilight" and thrilled the hearts of the gothic metal fans. The musical tension varies from clear vocals, sharp guitar attacks up to driving beats and rhythms. A mélange of classical and electronic elements do their best to round off the whole music in a most pleasant way and it also awards a very special, unique feature to the catchy songs. Among other things they played at the Wave Gotik Meeting in Leipzig, they retained inside the DAC-Charts as well as in the scene press. Inside the Orkus magazine they were chosen as newcomer act of the month and later on they were chosen NEWCOMER of the year 2001 by the readers! The band presents with a new name ELIS and a altered Line-up stronger than ever and is presenting they're bombastic new longplayer "God's Silence, Devil's Temptation"! Like the debut from ERBEN DER SCHÖPFUNG the new record of ELIS was also produced by Alexander Krull (Atrocity) at the MASTERSOUND STUDIO. He gave "God's Silence, Devil's Temptation" a heavy but also transparent production. ELIS signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and a record deal with Napalm Records. The fulminant "God's Silence, Devil's Temptation", which contains english and german songs and once again a poem of Georg Trackl, will be released in August on Napalm Records.
