Eleventeen

Combining a unique and masterful blend of punk, pop, rock and hardcore, the Bay Area’s Eleventeen are definitely living up to the incredible amount of excitement surrounding them. Their debut release ‘Everything I’ve Ever Wanted to Say’ is everything you’ve ever wanted in a punk album with melody or a pop album that rocks. Intricate and driving guitar parts seamlessly interweave with ingenious vocal melodies to create memorable songs that have an original quality all their own.

San Francisco's finest five piece has done a lot of growing up since their debut full-length. The well received album laid a concrete foundation of high energy, punk-spirited rock, securing an ever growing fan base in the California indie scene. It's no coincidence that they're consistently billed alongside some of the best bands to come through the state, (Further Seems Forever, Face to Face, Midtown, Sense Field,Recover, Thrice, The Ataris.... the list goes on and on.)

Fresh off a string of dates on the 2002 Vans Warped Tour, Eleventeen signed with Sessions Records and decided to buckle down and finish writing the long overdue follow-up to "Everything..." "In the Air," it's safe to say that the upcoming album is set to put them on the map for good. In late November, the band headed into the studio with the acclaimed J Robbins (Jets To Brazil, Hey Mercedes, etc.) A couple weeks later, they emerged with nothing short of a GREAT record. Rest assured that the melody-infused Eleventeen you've come to know and love is still intact, but there's a definite progression at hand. The new songs are refined, intense, and permeated with hooks - the kind with darker corners and sharper edges. "In the Air" will be available Feb. 18th, 2003.
