Dreamscapes Of The Perverse hails from Raleigh, North Carolina. From the symphonic approach on the keyboards, to multiple vocal styles and deliveries, shredding guitar solos, incredible drum performance, and a rock-solid bass foundation, we've been labeled everything from "insane" to the next Nordic Gods of metal (which, being from the USA we'll take as a compliment). We were formed in 2000 Robert Daugherty, John Snead and Ron Kirk met over a few pitchers of beer to discuss interest in forming a band with a different approach on songwriting and performance. We've been through the expected line-up changes and have settled on a solid group of outstanding musicians who enjoy writing and playing material. Our first release, "The Rise Of Self" was very well received by the worldwide metal community, and met with considerable success on garageband.com. Now, we've released our latest demo which has been met with even higher critical acclaim, as both our advancement in songwriting ability, performance delivery, and production values have continued to progress. We're currently negotiating with several of the large metal labels regarding a deal which we hope will be solidified before long so we can unleash our music onto the world on a much larger scale.
