One of Slovakia’s most successful heavy metal bands (yet still but a blip on the international radar), Depresy released a quartet of quite competent, gothic death metal albums — 1995’s …And Then Came the Tears of Christ, 1998’s A Grand Magnificence, 1999’s Sightings, and 2003’s Psychomantium Phenomenon — before disbanding with little fanfare in the early 2000s.
