Demoniac

Formed in 1993 in New Zealand, after a 5 year history, Demoniac is now one of the most unique METAL band in the underground scene and definitely the most interesting one in personalities wise. From their first album 'Prepare for War' (94), second album 'Stormblade' (96) released by Evil Omen Records, to now the undisputed masterpiece 'The Fire and the Wind' released by Osmose Productions, Demoniac have always done what ever they wanted and have made 3 different albums with each of its own unique sound but still with the Demoniac metal trademark.

After the well respected black metal debut 'Prepare for War' and the weird flavor combinations of 'Stormblade', Demoniac returns in 1999 with a new international line up and release their best album so far 'The Fire and the Wind' for french label Osmose Productions, receiving rave reviews in press all around the world!

With the help of new musicians, Herman 'Shred' Li: a highly respected guitar virtuoso in the London metal scene, Matej Setinc: a young drummer from Slovenia and Diccon Harper on bass, hero of South Africa's number 1 'Voice of Destruction', original members Behemoth and Heimdall, have gathered together a group effort which have shocked the metal community.

Demoniac, now located in London England, 'The Fire and the Wind' have put Demoniac into the front line, standing alone in an unexplored territory. Recorded with producer Mags (Cradle Of Filth, My dying Bride, Paradise Lost) at the Academy studio in the North of England, 'The Fire and the Wind' contains many styles of metal in a combination never have been done before, a mix of traditional metal, black metal, power metal, guitar heroism, with the personalities from the scene's most respected true metal heads!

Demoniac's members are known in the underground as the truly crazy & laid back metal heads. Personalities which are bought them both respect from true metallers and annoyance from the nerds after a number of live shows across Europe, but Demoniac don't give a fuck and will be true to themselves, playing metal the way they believe should be done. HAIL DEMONIAC!
