[edit] Biography
Raised in the city of Preston, Victoria, Franj's father passed away when he was fourteen years old. At age fifteen, he picked up a guitar; by sixteen he was "doing [his] own thing". Before he was nineteen, he travelled to Los Angeles, but eventually returned to Australia and was signed to Shock Records. His first single, Oxygen, was released to radio in early 2002, followed by Never Be Amazing, which reached the ARIA Top 20, his debut album Wrong Place, Wrong Time[1] and God Only Knows, which also reached the top 20.[2]
In December, 2003, Franj released I Want To Wake Up With You on the soundtrack for the Australian comedy film The Wannabes.[3]
Five years after his last song release, Vanessa Amorosi released Perfect, the second single from her second studio album, Somewhere In The Real World. The song peaked at #4 on the Aria Charts.[4]
