Everything started with the decision of Septic Flesh to separate the extreme metal face from the classical music side. The reason behind this is to give a unity in these two faces of Septic Flesh. So Septic Flesh1s members formed this project before Revolution DNA. Then they asked Natalie Rassoulis if she wants to be member of Chaostar and her answer was immediately positive. The musicians reached a point after the ³Fallen Temble² and with the ³Revolution DNA² that it was time to separate this mixture of classical and metal, because their standards were able to stand alone without the help of each other. The base behind Chaostar its Chris Antoniou and Natalie Rassoulis and with hidden figures Spiros Antoniou and Sotiris Vayenas. CHAOSTAR is the classical aspect of Septic Flesh.
Natalie has released a couple of months a CD under Virgin. The music of her CD is a mixture of rock with Greek music. Until now she has received very good reviews about her album and everybody in greece consider her as the new great hope of the Greek music. CHAOSTAR for her is a challenge because one of Natalys main artistic concerns is Opera and generally classical music. Natalie was very enthusiastic about this project, she had a more active role than before and her performance shows her passion for CHAOSTAR.
The number of people that worked for the ³Chaostar² album is large, about 60 person gave all their talent to outline the strange identity of the music. It was a very hectic job to bring all these people together, to make them a team able to express themselves in the music. It took us about 125 hours to record only the orchestra and choir, without Spiros, Natalie, Sotiris the percussion etc.. It's a huge production and demanding.
