The Parents Television Council has slammed the network for allowing Miley’s performance.

"MTV continues to sexually exploit young women by promoting acts that incorporate ''twerking'' in a nude-coloured bikini. How is this image of former child star Miley Cyrus appropriate for 14-year-olds?" they said in a statement. Kelly Osbourne was not impresed by her friend and she gave her an advice.

"Look, Miley's my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I'm going to tell her - put your f**king tongue in your mouth,' she quipped on E! show Fashion Police. 'I love you, but just put your tongue in your mouth."
