BG Knocc Out was raised by a single mother and his older brother (Gangsta Dresta) who looked after him most of the time, they grew up on the streets of Compton city known for it磗 violent police department and gang related crimes. BG knocc Out was said to be a member of the East Compton Crips but that磗 not confirmed by anyone I think.
When his older brother was going to jail I think Dresta started to write and rap but I don磘 know for sure. After he came out he hooked up with his lilbrother who also had a dope flow and lyrical abbility and they met up with the greatest gangsta rapper of all time: >Eazy-E< !!!!
They mostly made appearances on Eazy-E tracks such ass the famous and notourious "Real Muthaphuckkin G磗" (Real Compton city G磗) wich was also one of Eazy-E磗greatest solo hits and more tracks Released on Ruthless Records. They Released a album called "Real Brothas" and the title of course revers to them being REAL brothers. Alltough Eazy-E didn磘 make any appearances on the album and there was no promotion at all the album sold over 200.000 copies with only the word on the street to promote it, that just shows the true talent these guyes got.
When Eazy-E died they lost their chance off ever being signed to Ruthless Records. Alltough BG Knocc Out was never signed to ruthless and I belive his brother wasn磘 either they they still made appearances on the last Eazy-E album "Str8 Off Tha Streetz Of Muthaphuckin Compton" on wich they appeared on more then 4 songs. The rumour that Bg Knocc Out had recorded a solo album before Eazy-E died still remains a untrue, because Knocc Out was never singed to ruthless.
And then it seemed as if Bg Knocc Out just dissapeared off the face of the earth just like his "GENERAL" in the game the late great Eazy-E. But then it seemed he was in jail for armed robbery, this robbery was probably an attempt to survive, because he had no record deal and wasn磘 making any money at all this seems kinda weird for a talented young but already experienced Rapper.
He is now supposed to be out of jail and recording "Tha Real BG" along with DJ Quick, menajahtwa and other West Coast / Compton Rappers. But this is from what I heard still not confirmed and I磎 getting a little worried if it will ever be released or worse if he is in fact trying to rap right now. We can磘 be sure until we hear from the man himself. His older brother Gangsta Dresta seemed to have joined Ruthless Records former rival record company the notorious Death Row Records now known as Tha Row, so it would be most logic if BG Knocc Out followed his brothers footsteps once again and joined up with Above the Law, Crooked I and other acts.
