The concept of the band was created by Thurios and Khorus back in 1996. Same year they recorded "Ad Infinitum" demo. Later the line-up was extended and Astrofaes released a live demo "The Attraction: Heavens & Earth (live)" recorded during one of their concert.
In autumn of 1997 Oriana Prod. released their first studio album called "The Attraction: Heavens & Earth".
In summer of 1998 Astrofaes recorded their 2nd album "Dying Emotions Domain" that was released by Oriana Prod. It was later re-released by Pussy God Rec. Both releases were in MC format.
Throughout these years the band follows the concept of resurrection of Spirit Of Slavonic Lands and pride for honor and blood of their ancestors. Each and every song is fulfilled with atmosphere of mighty Nature and everlasting Universe.
In the middle of 2000 Astrofaes got offer from Chanteloup Creation (now Oaken Shield) or releasing "Dying Emotions Domain" on CD that was released in the beginning of 2001. At the end of spring 2001 the band has completed recording at once of 2 new albums "Heritage" and "Ancestors' Shadows", which one prolong ... the way of heart to inherit the glory ... In the beginning of summer 2002 these albums were released on Oriana Prod. (MC format).
Album "The Eyes Of The Beast" is dedicated to forests and marshes, steppes and rivers and also to all secrets hidden from eyes of descendants by Abyss of millenniums. Hail to Forests! Hail to Gods! Hail to Ancestors and Hail to Descendants! It was recorded in winter 2000. MC format was released by Oriana Prod and now, Oaken Shield released it in a CD format.
