PHOTO: Diego BreibsDoomsters ASEIDAD started life as a straightforward Power Metal band during 1996 with a line up including the Vivallo brothers, bassist Mauricio and vocalist Marcelo- the latter ex-DAMNED, guitarist Patricio Saavedra of GOLGOTAS, second guitarist Ivan Ibarra and drummer Luis Moya, the latter also ex-GOLGOTAS. Within a year ASEIDAD had shifted direction into a more Gothic / Doom stance. Guitarist Christian Nello of PROTEUS MIRABILIS would fleetingly replace Ibarra in 1997 before ASEIDAD were then left operating as a single guitar unit. A demo was subsequently cut at Radiográfica Studios with DOMINUS XUL guitarist Jano Lizama at the controls. For the ‘Autumn’ album, crafted at N-music A.C. Studios in September of 1999, the group drafted guitar player Marcelo Prades. ASEIDAD underwent turbulent times following the album release with a major fracturing that saw Moya, bassist Mauricio Vivallo and Prades all out of the picture. Prades would found UNDERNEATH in league with another ex-ASEIDAD man Patricio Saavedra whilst Moya joined fellow Doom merchants POEMA ARCANUS. New faces would be revealed as guitarist Juan Pablo Binimelis, ex-ASTRAL SOUL bass player Erik Birkner and drummer Mario Chacana, coincidently an ex-POEMA ARCANUS man. New on keyboards would be Juan Escobar of SUBTENEBRAS. In early 2004 Rodrigo 'Skanner' Ramírez, from electro-industrial band VIGILANTE, enrolled to temporarily sub for Juan Escobar on keyboards. However, Escobar exited in order to dedicate himself exclusively to SUBTENEBRAS. ASEIDAD issued a new demo in August of 2004 entitled 'The Clust'.
