The King Edward VII Acapella Group from the National University of Singapore was set up in 2001 by a group of friends who loved to sing. Since then, it has grown both in size and experience, and has become an established hall activity with more than 20 members.
In 2002, the group entered the finals of the well-known NTU Talentime competition.
In 2003, the group performed in both the inaugral combined halls choir concert, Amplitude, as well as playing a major role in a joint KE7 Choir and Acapella concert. On Friday, December 12th 2003, KE7 Acapella performed at Funan IT Mall, to an enthusiastic young audience. The group sang a total of five well-loved Christmas carols ranging from the rousing traditional favorite "Joy to the World" to the sentimental "I'll Be Home for Christmas".
This year, not to forget our greatest event - Amplitude 2004, which was held on 3rd March 2004 at NUS UCC Theatre. Coming up will be our performance in the King Edward VII Hall External Culture Night - Kulture Eruption 2004 on 17th March 2004 at UCC Theatre. Both events were sponsored by ExxonMobil.
KE7 Aca looks forward to another exciting series of performances that will achieve new heights of vocal excellence.
