Abra Moore

Abra, who is based in Austin, TX, began composing music at the age of six and her creative path has taken her through the streets of New York and Europe. After founding the folk-rock group Poi Dog Pondering which earned a devoted cult following, Abra emerged as a gifted and Grammy nominated solo artist who has earned great respect and critical acclaim with her stunning artistry. Rooted in alternative and rootsy pop songwriting, Commenting on her talent, PEOPLE magazine said, "What shines most is the unaffected honesty of Moore - as if she were dancing by herself in a darkened room or thinking aloud with the lights off." This summer Abra Moore will emerge with No Fear. A July 23 USA release date is expected.

She is also no stranger to Dawson's Creek. An earlier season 5 episode #509 "Hotel New Hampshire" featured the song "Four Leaf Clover" from her 1997 Arista release Strangest Places. Another song from the same album, "Happiness", was featured way back in the second episode which aired in January 1998.

No Fear, Abra's third album, is expected to be released on July 23.
