Watch The Wanted's I found You Video Premiere
The British-Irish boy band The Wanted have unveiled the music video for their newest and latest single, 'I Found You.' The song is a lead single from their third studio album that will be a follow-up to their well-received sophomore "Battleground."
The video was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. "This song is a little bit different for us, it's a little bit retro," Jay McGuinness told MTV News of the new single. "But we obviously still have the Wanted party feel [like we're] at a club."
"The chorus is a bit Cee Lo Green-esque, a bit Bee Gees as well," Tom Parker said. "There's a falsetto in the chorus, but in the verse, it's still got that swagger that the Wanted usually have."
The boy band revealed the new clip via their Twitter account. The boys show their darkest side while getting involved into a fight with some men who kidnapped a beautiful lady, but instead of helping the woman, they steal a key from her pocket and give her a goodbye kiss.
"It's about finding someone, whether it be in the rain, in the darkness," Siva Kaneswaren added. "It's about being lost, but found."
The single will be released on November 4, 2012.
"Here it is! We hope you love it as much as we do!!" posted the boy band on their Vevo channel account. The group said that their single "I Found You" is their "best video yet."
