In My Soul: New Album from The Robert Cray BandFive-time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum selling artist, Robert Cray, has just unveiled his seventeenth studio album.

Entitled In My Soul, the American blues guitarist and singer’s project was released two days ago, on March 31, 2014 via Provogue label. This event will be followed by an extensive UK and European tour that kicks off at the Anvil in Basingstoke, UK on the 2nd of May.

In My Soul was produced by Cary’s long time friend, the American multi-instrumentalist, composer, musical director, Grammy Award-winning artist, Steve Jordan. It comprises a 10 song collection of Stax and Chess influenced soul and blues, which highlight Robert Cray’s trademark guitar playing and extraordinary vocals. The limited edition CD also includes a bonus track entitled “Pillow.”

The ten tracks that are included on Robert Cray’s album are “You Move Me,” “Fine Yesterday,” “Your Good Thing (Is About To End),” “I Guess I'll Never Know,” “Hold On,” “What Would You Say,” “Hip Tight Onions,” “You're Everything,” “Deep in My Soul,” and “Nobody's Fault But Mine,” an Otis Redding cover.
