The Professional Americans - Raindrops Like Atom Bombs lyrics

Meaning: "Raindrops" is about letting God control your destiny. I feel this weight of having to accomplish something is my life. This weight that I will be a part of something revolutionary during my life. That may happen with music or outside of it all together. This song is basically me saying I feel these things upon my life, but that I am not capable of fulfilling any of these ideas on my own. If it's going to happen I have to rely upon God. There is no other way. What is so great about God is that no matter how useless you feel, or think your talents and abilities are, God can still use you to "change the world." Jesus' disciples were all outcasts. The men that were told by society that they were not good enough. Christ came and said to just follow him and there is no denying that they have had an impact upon the world. Lyrics: "I will change the world" Confident but so cliched A million other souls say the same thing What makes me adverse To the heretics that caution me To watch out for the stars, they're on fire Rain down, upon this body Rain down, until I'm wading In water that rises from the ground Give me a sound I'm afraid I'll fall When I stumble dust me off And set me on the path to the water Let my line be straight While the others pass away Deft shall be my hands with the shaping, and breaking I'm a lonely soul, Far from being whole Why should I be chosen as the one The only one
