Video preview of Taylor Swift's Hunger Games soundtrack 'Safe and Sound' arrived
Taylor Swift is entering the "Hunger Games" movie as she serves along The Civil Wars for the soundtrack "Safe and Sound". The clip will also feature The Civil Wars, and recently a picture off the set has been released in which the country cutie is seen wearing a long white dress, with her hair loosen down. She is standing alone in a dreamy and misty set, of course.
The video premiere of the clip is set for next week, Monday, February 13th, on MTV during MTV First: Taylor Swift, promoted also by Viacom. At the same time, an exclusive content from the video and an interview with Taylor will take place after it. Fans can submit questions to Taylor via Twitter @MTVNews with the hashtags #AskTaylor or #MTVFirst.
The goal of the premiere is to reach as many people around the world as possible, perhaps as many as 600 million, according to Van Toffler, President of Viacom Music & Logo Group. He told TheWrap, <I>"I'm not sure we've ever done a global artist video premiere across all of our channels domestically much less globally. What a great way to reach hundred of millions of people around the world and let them know about a movie and song."
Swift performed the song live as a surprise guest of the Civil Wars during their recent Nashville concert. "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, which also features Arcade Fire and the Decemberists, drops March 20; the movie hits theaters days later, on March 23.
