Taylor Swift named 'Entertainer of the Year' at the 2011 CMA
Taylor Swift won big at the Country Music Awards last night, November 9th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee as she was named Entertainer of the Year, though it was her single award received that night. She beat artists like Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
The newbie The Band Perry took home three awards: New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year. They were followed by singer Jason Aldean who grabbed two awards: Album of the Year and Musical Event of the Year with Kelly Clarkson. Miranda Lambert was named Female Vocalist of the Year, and Blake Shelton won Male Vocalist of the Year.
