Music video: Taylor Swift wanders in the wood in Hunger Games clip 'Safe And Sound'
The Grammy awarded country singer Taylor Swift debuted 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack video "Safe And Sound" which also features The Civil Wars. Taylor premiered the visuals via MTV, and the Philip Andelman-directed clip shares the solitude appearance of the pop/country singer while wandering barefoot through the forest.
Wearing a flawless white nightgown with her hair long, Taylor arrives at some abandoned cabin and finds a mockingjay pin. Meanwhile, The Civil Wars who also lend some vocals to the soundtrack are sitting comfortable in front of fireplace.

"I'm sitting here thinking, 'What were their lives like?' It's really eerie, considering what the movie is about and how it deals with life and death. It just absolutely blew my mind."
About shooting the video with director Philip Andelman, she gushed, "It was so cold. It was freezing. I was shaking the whole time and trying not to be shaking when the cameras were rolling. It was about 40 degrees in Nashville. It had just rained." She added, "I'm wearing this 1920s vintage nightgown that didn't provide much warmth. I didn't get sick. I thought I was going to get sick. That was the upside."
The soundtrack album for "The Hunger Games" is going to arrive in the United States on March 20, while the movie itself will be released nationwide three days later. Beside Taylor's collab with The Civil Wars, she has another song included on the album titled "Eyes Wide Open", about which she said: "I have another song on the soundtrack, and it just ended up so organically coming together, I can't believe it, really."
