Solange Works Day and Night

Solange Works Day and NightSolange Knowles is working day and night to finish her next album.

Beyoncé Knowles' younger sister, Solange, launched her own record label in May, this year and announced that she would soon make her solo album debut under the new banner.

The 27-year-old DJ has recently posted on Twitter that she’s been working hard to finish her brand new album, and that she's not getting any sleep until it's finished.

“Have not slept in 4 days, working round the clock to turn in my first release on @SaintRecords,” Solange wrote.

It is not Solange’s first album. She was signed by Columbia Records at the beginning of her solo career, releasing Solo Star, back in 2003, followed up with 2008's Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, released by Geffen. Last year she signed a contract with Terrible Records, with whom she has released an extended play album entitled True.

It seems that Beyoncé’s little sister got tired of the label hopping. "Super stoked to announce I've started my own label,SAINT RECORDS,where I'll be releasing my music & other projects distributed through SONY!," she gushed back in May, adding, "It is through SAINT RECORDS that I will be releasing my full length album, and also future music projects that I'm excited about sharing!". This news came shortly after the release of Solange's track with Kendrick Lamar, Looks Good With Trouble.

A release date for her forthcoming album has yet to be announced.
