Snoop Lion posted a photo on Instagram on Monday bragging he had won a pound of marijuana on a recent bet.

The rapper bet on Saturday’s boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alverez.

'Thanks to the champ money may for winning me a pound from my mexican buddy Lui !!' the rapper wrote after betting on Mayweather.

'U r the pound for pound best! N I'm gonna smoke 2 dat !!! Hahahahahahahah. @bigglala where u at ??'

The post had received over 61,000 likes and several comments.

The star most recently became involved with an initiative which aims to get guns off the streets of America.

"I learned how to take all of my positive energy and just become a mirror with it,' he told MTV RapFix Live back in April.

'I've always had power, and sometimes I felt like I was leading the blind to a dark alley, and not on purpose.'
